The Mum Tribe Loves are products that we love! Some posts may be sponsored.
Lockdown in 2020 prompted scores of amazing mums to start their own businesses, and Liv is no exception. After unexpectedly falling pregnant (with twins!) during lockdown in 2020, Liv and her partner decided to make the move to the Wairarapa to be closer to family when her babies were born. Struggling to find a job, Liv took matters into her own hands and started NŌLA Candles.
Natural, environmentally friendly products
Liv is committed to sourcing ingredients that burn safely and cleanly, using natural plant-based soy wax free from paraffin, GMOs and unnatural additives. The result are gorgeous, long burning candles that not only smell divine, but are an environmentally friendly choice.
NŌLA Candles are made exclusively with phthalate-free fragrance oils and all ingredients are vegan and cruelty-free. NŌLA Candles goes above and beyond to offset carbon emissions, and are committed to helping make a change for our planet.
Supporting the Neonatal Trust
After her twins were born at 34 weeks (on New Year's Eve too!), Liv decided to donate 10% of her profits to The Neonatal Trust.
In her own words (via Facebook):
When my waters broke at 34 weeks, I was emergency flown to Wellington to be close to the NICU department. When my girls came, they needed that support. Any mother will know how scary those first few days are, so I can't even begin to explain how blessed I felt to have those kind nurses caring for my girls, and caring for me. NŌLA will always be donating 10% of our profits to kiwi charities going forward, & for now we have decided to make a difference for the people who made a huge difference for us! Once again, thank you to everyone who has supported us so far - from Noah, Isla & myself!
