When I was around 37 weeks pregnant I decided it was time to pack a hospital bag. I'd been putting it off because I couldn't quite believe that the birth of my child was so imminent. When I was looking for packing lists, I mostly found American ones on Pinterest.
We're very lucky in New Zealand as we're provided with a lot of essentials by the hospital. Maternity pads, nappies for baby, linen like towels etc are all in your room once you're transferred from delivery. So here's my no-nonsense list of essentials you'll need in the hospital! Credit to Treasures for the original list I used to pack my bag, which inspired this list.
